Reliable Carriers Transports the First Responder Chevrolet Silverado to Ground Zero.

Reliable Carriers is proud to have been selected by General Motors to transport the First Responder Tribute Chevrolet Sliverado to Ground Zero to the honor heroes and those lost during the 9/11 attacks. RC drivers Doug and Nelda McConaha were given a police escort from Cosby, TN to the TN state line as they began their trip to the Ground Zero Memorial to reveal the truck to the public for the first time.

The First Responder features murals airbrushed by artist Micky Harris. The artwork encompasses the events of 911 as well as other related events that have occurred over last 10 years. The hood of the truck also features a special hood ornament – a piece of glass from World Trade Center which pulses with green light in keeping with The Heartbeat of America. Beneath the glass are Todd Beamer’s last recorded words “Let’s Roll” said just before he and other passengers fought for control of hijacked United Airlines Flight 93.
